Dehesa Casablanca is a family business with decades of experience in the breeding and care of the Iberian pig.

Located in the region of Ciudad Rodrigo, in the heart of the Salamanca pasture. Land border and warrior past, which are still witness their old strengths. Right here, on the border with Portugal, is one of the richest and most varied ecosystems in the world: Between oak and cork oak forests our Iberian pigs are bred. A privileged habitat, which brings together the beauty of its wild flora with exhaustive measures of hygiene and health, to ensure the breed of our specimens.

The art of breeding the Iberian pig, the dedication of our professionals and the craftsmanship of each piece, distinguish us as one of the companies most committed to the quality of the final product.

In our modern facilities of the El Montalvo industrial estate in Salamanca, approved by the EEC, we unite tradition and technique to provide every day the best service and quality to our customers.

Our palace. The breadth of the Salamanca pasture is the stage where the Iberian pig grows healthy and strong. Given the vastness of the landscape, the animals travel several kilometers a day, ensuring the best infiltration of fat. Encinas and cork oaks, oaks and gall oaks, green meadows and golden sunsets, make up the landscape where our pigs live happily.

The king of Dehesa Casablanca. He was born free, in a privileged environment and with a team of professionals who watch over every detail of his diet. Breastfeed by his mother at birth and then fed with natural feed of the highest quality, the Iberian pig is fed only acorn during the montanera period.

The Dryer

Crown jewel. Since 2008, the industrial estate “El Montalvo” hosts one of the most modern dryers in Spain, whose facilities are approved by the EEC, guarantee of hygiene and quality. Highly qualified professionals with years of experience in the artisanal treatment of the pieces, they watch the times, the cleaning and the care of each ham, ensuring the perfect finish of the Dehesa Casablanca sausages.
